Vegetable Oil conversion ?

Has/Does anybody run their boat on Vegetable Oil?

Did you know the 'original' diesel engine (as designed and build by Rudolf Diesel) was designed to run on peanut oil for German farmers

I've heard he considered a number of vegetable oils including hemp oil. Now, wouldn't that make us all so much happier during rush hour traffic jams?

I would be careful about choosing the right vegetable oil. I bet old detroits need lower saturated fats and cholesterol.
