A weird thing happended last Friday.... I was struggling with repairs my shirk wrap in 50 MPH+ winds here in Mystic. I had the hatch open when I climbed on top of the flybridge pilot station to secure the shrink wrap. THe boat heeled over from a wind gust and I braced myself on the open hatch.... and it just snapped completely off about one inch from the piano hinge.
I'm not sure it's repairable but I have a call into my boat carpenter guru.... anyone know where I might find a replacement just in case it cannot be repaired?
FYI... rotate your head to the left for the proper orientation. Also, it's NOT the spring that broke you see in the pic...
