To all
I have really been wrestling what to do with the purchase of another boat after selling my beloved 45c. I took it from a pile of junk to a fairely nice boat. When i sold it as i am sure some of you can relate it was a void. Maybee a tear left when it left the dock. But I would not admit it.
I could not decide what to do I talked to everyone on the site and got a bunch of information from every one here. There were many times when i just wanted to just stop and quit. The total market going south boat prices droping fuel going up again on and on wondering where the bottom was. The boys in Australia saying fuel was 6&7 dillars a gallon.
Almost 5 to 6 month ago I was doing my usual mouth running and out of no where came reply to me .
COME TO TURKS & CAICOS AND FISH ON A 52C DONE RIGHT. Well my first thought was this is a bunch of crap.
As time passed there came another message confirming my visit and to bring my daughter. Well there was nothing to do but go. I loaded up my wife daughter and god bless his heart my daughters husband. We all met in Turks stayed in the marina hotel not 5 star but had all the goodies. I met my daughter and her husband at the motel they arrived sooner than my wife and i.
When i saw them they were sitting in the bar overlooking the marina. I ask them had they seen the boat SPELLBOUND. O yes there it is it was a very good looking 52 hat light blue hull with all the goodies all cleaned up and ready for a fishing trip.
I went to the boat not knowing what to expect and banged on the window. Out came a long lean man after introducing my self. His first words were come aboard. From that time forward Toby Wiener and his good looking hatteras SPELLBOUND were nothing but the finest kind as they say in the low country of the Carolinas.
There was never a time in two days of fishing did he give one second of indication he was sorry for letting us come. A jentlemen he was a perfect gentlemen to my daughter and sunenlaw and wife .I can not give him but the upmost of THANK YOU for the trip and showing us around the island.
The trip was not a waste as my wife allowed me to spend a little more money than we agreed and my daughter caught her first blue marlin.
Umble during the whole trip he said nothing about just winning the marlin tournament SPELLBOUND AND TOBY WON THE 17TH ANNUAL CAICOS CLASSIC. Which qualifies him and SPELLBOUND for the world igfa championship.
Toby thanks for a wonderful 4 days from me and my family we will never forget the time you took for us. I will post some picks of our trip as soon as i figur how to and my daughter sends them to me. Tim
