Tuck (Terry Guthrie) has been grinding out those 65 foot plank on frame juniper hulls pretty regularly for years on Harkers Island. He only builds the hull, house, bridge, and deck. Basically builds the whole thing by himself, pretty amazing. The buyers take the boats to be completed at whatever yard they choose.

I have been on the island going on 19 years just at the base of the bridge. I see the boat under the green tarp behind the house in the curve next to the old movie house. There is a small sign in the front yard. If i remember it correctely it says sport fish hull for sale. It always seems to look in the same stage... Exactely as the pick, It always looks as if no change

In no particular order Tuck built these 60 foot and over boats during the last 10 years or so: Bootlegger, Reel Chaos, Pelagic, Trial Size, Spray, Point Runner, and a couple others. He keeps busy at it, stop in and visit he's a very interesting guy.
