If you go to www.twindisc.com and go to the marine transmission selection, then look for a pdf of the opertor's manual you will find lots of drawings showing which have factory oil filters, but remember that one could always have been added. If the manufacturer didn't specify one it probably is not needed. The drawings also show where the oil suction strainers are located. These are mostly checked every 1000 hours of use.
In a quick look I did not find an exact match for my 19 year old transmission as it appears the model numbers have changed. Just match the exterior appearance of your transmission to the pictures. The service locations generally remain the same.
Ok, so I found where the screen filter is and before opening where it is I need to buy the gasket for the cover plate. Anybody knows the part number for that gasket? Thanks
I know its old school, but you can cut your own, any parts place will have gasket material. If you want to go comando, black permagasket will usually work.
