I know that you don't leave the fresh water hose connected (or in the on position) if your going to be away from the boat......but what I don't know and am asking is if you should kill the power to the toilets via the breaker panel for the same reason

JLR's "Head Fill Height Issue" post ( http://www.samsmarine.com/forums/showthread.php?22150-Head-Fill-Height-Issue ) got me thinking about the above.

And while I am at it. if there are any other tips when leaving the boat in a safe configuration it would be appreciated. I am starting a checklist and would appreciate any assistance.

Turn off the mains and just leave the chargers and the bilge pumps and alarm on.

Fresh water heads even with power off can fill and overflow if there is pressure on the FW system and a FW solenoid on the head goes bad and allows water to enter the bowl.

Thank you both....logical, and makes sense now that I know it.
