The drain stopper on my tub is not staying opened. Anyone fix one of these? Can I repair it from the tub side or do I have to get access from behind? I also need to service the faucet. It's a single lever rotary style mixer. Starting to drip on occasion. I'm assuming this will be easy to dismantle and fix. Last thing is one of the shower doors seems off the track and I can't get it back on. I suspect the rollers on the top need replacement. Any tips for any of this? All of this happened over the past week and the admiral wants her head fixed.

So tell her to get to it right away.

Some pics might help to see exactly what you've got there.

I was going to take some tonight but didn't make it to the boat. Hopefully I'll get there before the weekend.

She'd do it if she knew how. The head her cousin tampooned last weekend will be mine to fix too.

I've fixed most of those items but photos would diffantly help bring back my memory.

Jack, I've replaced all the Delta shower and sink lever set cylinders, as well as hardware. My recollection is that you need a cheap Home Depot tool, and they have the cylinders as well. It really is a 10 minute job. Your tub drain, not so much. I haven't changed one out in years, but you'd need full access to the bottom and supply side of the tub.

Does anyone use those tiny tubs? That always looked to me like your knees would be in your chin

My head clogged with pisscrete so I did the smart thing. I just bough a new one a d tossed the old in the trash. I don't like clearing up toilets.

It's cheaper than therapy

These are pretty pricey and I still need to check and clear the line regardless. The nice thing about these heads is the evacuate the bowl and lines when you flush so they stay real clean. I had one apart before and there was zero odor and the hoses and pump looked like new.

The drain is the big concern. If I need to work on the supply side I'll have to cut the wall in the companion way. As for the tub, it's actually pretty big. It's not one of the tiny short ones and it's a jacuzzi. Wife uses it a bit and I've used it on occasion after a day of crawling around the ER.

Pisscrete, now that's a new one for Websters.
