What does it mean? Looked at a few users and some of us have some don't. Is the the scarlet X of shame?

Hey I have that too some do some don't

Now don't go getting paranoid there "jesters". The X just shows you are on line and active on the forum.

When the X is gone, so are you.

Wheeew, I thought it was some code that the zappers used to keep track of the "jesters". Kinda like a buddy list only alot more onerous.........

thudddddd

Wrong all of you. It has to do with your relations with the host company. When you see an "X" in the box it means that your purchases for the last 6 months is below acceptable guide lines. Automatically a research group located in Snelville, GA representing a gonglomerate of suppliers becomes intently interested in A): Why is it that your vessel is requiring fewer replacement parts. And B): Where might you be buying replacement items from and not being loyal to the regiem.

To make a long story short, it relates to the in-house dreaded "zapomometer" and how it applies to your individual situation. Interestingly, participants who are (enourmously) wealty enough to own two Hatteras's eventually wind up buying boocoos of parts and hence, seldom have to worry about said mometer.

I hope this clears the question up for all concerned.

Happy to be of assistance.

Heck, I was thinking of sending something back!

Could be bad for business that I wear Hatt stuff all the time. Maybe Sea Rays aren't that bad a boat after all.

Nah, I may be dumb, but I ain't stoopid. I'll keep my Hatt umbella and hope they send me some Hatt rain coats for those really dreary days.

While we're at it, what does the paper clip mean and how do you incert web addresses in the thread?
Hal

The paperclip means there is a photo or a link to a photo somewhere in the thread.

The "X" shows that you are on-line. If you log out and view the forum, you'll see that your "X" goes away and you have a empty blue box next to your name.

All you have to do to insert a web address is simply type it in the proper format such as www.southernsecuritysafes.com which will provide a link simply by placing the pointer thingy on the link and pushing the button.

How's that for a little free advertising.

wildbill, forget all the saftey stuff on your site, more bikini pic's please. But link them , so we don't get zapped.
