Several folks sent my private messages re our boat and what to do with it while we are in Mexico for the next 5 years and I want thank all of you for the offers to help. I really appreciate it. It wasn't until today that I checked my PMs. For some reason, I've never gotten into the habit of doing so. So I apologize for not responding in a timely manner.
As you may have seen from my last couple of posts; we have firmly decided to bring the boat to Mexico. The only issue will be finally deciding where. Even though, from my post on the subject, I was disappointed with the cost of slips in Ixtapa, expecting it to be consdierably cheaper than NY, I wouldn't hesitate to keep the boat here (Ixtapa) if nothing better turns up. Yes, it's more expensive than NY but it's only about 1K higher and it's well within our capability.
