Hey you travelers,

Have any of you upgraded the rub rails on a FG tender to something big and white that may reduce "skiff rash" to your yacht? I understand most use RIB's and there are many advantages to them, but wondering if I can replace the puny rub rail on my stumpknocker with something much more robust and less devastating to my paint.

Search so far hasn't revealed an obvious choice.

Any ideas?

Many thanks,
Moon Howler

Google small boat rub rail, or use any diameter hose, drill a hole in one side large enough for the head of your srew and washer and a smaller hole thru the other side so head of screw is on inside of hose.

If your rub rails are tender, you should be more gentle with your dinghy.
