Holy Smokes... with guy has talent with engines, just think what he could do in a good well equipped shop with proper parts and tools.

We cannot even begin to attempt what he did.

I just feel bad at the effort he put in for the longevity he will get out of it.

This guy is my new Hero.

I will pay him $2000/hr if he can rebuild my engine in 21 mins.

Holy sh!t. I'm amazed.

Goes to show you how lucky we really have it in this country. None of us would have said anything but uhhh, NO! to steaming that pile of garbage if it was offered to us free as a gift. I'm tempted to send this video to my mechanic who just told me I need to buy new turbos. Tell him to get his as$ in gear and be a little more optimistic on working with what's there next time. Except I'm sure it wouldn't go overt well.

That or send the old turbo's to this guy in the video, he'll probably be cruising around at 70mph.

I watch a lot of Youtube projects. The successful ones are serious money makers. (I'm talking 500K views by fans in the first 24 hours a new installment comes out.) Sampson Boat Co, Acorn to Arabella, Ship Happens to name a few. Add some Patreon $$ to the Youtube money and invariably the video gets better as the success of the channel improves. The real winners have camera and editing people. It's a business, and it is becoming big business.

And if there's big money, the gold diggers invariably show up. And things become staged. Too smooth, fake.

Not saying that is the case here, but there is a pretty good discrepancy between the quality of the video/editing/drone shots (all VERY high quality) and the alleged "no pot to piss in" project. This was not shot on a cheap phone.

Things that make you go hmmmmm......

I give the guy credit for his optimism and luck. He's a very motivated individual.

But that turbocharger will do nothing for him but whistle. It's beyond shot.
