Take care of your engines

Please run your engines regularly!! I did a survey on an 1989 Bertram Sportfisher last week with 8-92TA’s. The mechanic doing the engine survey was the best in San Diego. He had done a complete rebuild on these engines with Craig Stenke 8 years ago. They had 884 hours on them since the rebuild and were totally trashed from mid use. Pitted cylinders etc. we only reach 1450 RPM’s on one and 1700 with heavy smoking on the other. Very sad the boat was a great looker with a Rybovich edition . But will be lucky to get $100,000 for it.
