  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
56' MOTOR YACHT (1981 - 1984)
hi guys i have a friend that i converted to a new Hatteras owner who just purchased a 1988 60' MY ...
he is having some problem that his System Monitor panel at both stations are lit up wit no engines running could use some help ...i told him to give Sams a call...any info would help...thanks

I'm sure you will get much good advice here. The first thing I would check is if the test buttons are stuck or shorting out. The person who designed the system for Hatteras is Roger Wetherington. He was working for Jarrett Bay, then left them to work for Cummins. He has helped me troubleshoot my systems monitor on several occasions. I'm not sure if Rogetr is still around, but you can try his e-mail<rwetherington@centurylink.com>. Good luck.

hi guys ...thanks for the information i will pass it on to my friend....
the test button is not stuck ...we are thinking there may be a bad ground somewhere they just put a
some new bilge pumps in...
