Sure but why would you want to? Just measure the distance between the attachment points on the synchro and order a single cable that's longer by roughly that same distance. Synchronizers are wonderful though, after having one I would never get rid of mine.
I got rid of mine when i repowered. Easy to synchronize by ear with engines that out loud enough to be a bother, with the Cummins though you can’t hear any difference…
Prior owner on mine disconnected it and moved the tach drives to the back of the engines. I bought an extension tube from Glendinning so the newer tach drives could go back to the synchronizer. Works good at the dock. He left throttle cables hooked up. I wouldn't get rid of mine as others have said. I would keep it even if you don't use it.
Up the StJohns river there are many bends, big/long and some tight.
Our 46 year ole, 32V Glendinning still works perfect.
With out it, the engines would never be in sync.
I would go crazy(er) with out it.
