swim ladder problem when to put hand rail?

The wife is complaining that once she gets to this point she has a hard time getting up to the next level. Any suggestions?

Gosh, I'd thought any other gentleman would have already offered this: clearly at this point, you have to give her something to pull up on so she can move up to the next level. Some kind of hand-hold.
