Hey all, about mid-summer I bought a bunch of Japanese sunscreen based on a few articles I read online. Completely blown away at how much better than US sunscreen it is. Non-oily, non-greasy and protects and lasts WAY better/longer.

I got Biore japanese off ebay, love it but I'm sure there are better available.

Anybody else make the switch to international sunscreen?

For those not up to date on the issue, here is an article about the reasons US sunscreen sucks.

Had not heard this. Thanks for the link. Just bought a tube on Ebay. I'll see if we like it.

Just remember the govt ALWAYS knows what is best for us. We should all ask our local politicians for more regulation and govt oversight. They always get it right....

Had a dermatology appointment this week and asked him about this.

Yep, spot on. US sunscreens are junk compared to what's overseas. He recommended the stuff from Australia.

Very cool, thanks for the input, I'll try the aussie stuff next. Did he recommend any specific brand?
