Hi just wondering I have 1989 65 MY with 9 ft cockpit extension are the stringers hollow
of wood inside the stringers with fiberglass over thank you for input thanks!!!!!!

The fiberglass structure of the stingers is structural. I think on the earlier boats like mine they used foam but it s the glass shell that does the work

Lesser builders used wood with very little fiberglass, or worst chop mat. Then eventually the wood rots …

You talking about the original hull or the cockpit extension?
I know from experience; Hatteras of Liquordale added on cockpit extensions and just glassed (poorly) over wood in their extension.
I have looked over many cockpit extensions (after factory) and a few are stronger than the factory hull.
Are you just wondering or think you have a problem?

We are wondering if the stringers in engine room solid fiberglass
Or wood with fiberglass thank you !

The original stringers are filled with foam.

There must be a good story behind this cut up stringer… :).

Wow. Think of the strength in that thing? Sure beats a rotting 2 x 6 with a piece of glass cloth over it.
