Again, what is the big deal about running these boats on one engine? :D

Gonna be interesting to hear the rest of this story from the captain's standpoint having left the boat.

Weren't you planning a trip there soon? Maybe decided to get there early? Hmmmm

Had a guy mention something about me moving an 80' with only one engine, but I just assumed it was his.

Across the channel from CG miami no less... The guy had time to cause all that damage and neither miami beach cops, nor the USCG nor any of the law enforcement agencies patrolling the port of miami were able to find him???

More bad juju for maimi beach marina.... Boat fires, cargo crashing into the docks, sinking as and now this

Hopefully the owner is completely insured and will get his 3.2 million without even having to sell it.

How often do boats of this size get stolen in Florida? How can anyone expect to not be found with it?

Just seems like another dumb crook event.

Maybe the thief planned to just change the name and go cruising.

You know the hidden in plain site, just blend in with all the other Hatteras 80s?

Gotta wonder how it's going to play out when it's shown that both keys were in the ignitions.

Yea. And add that story to the 72' Hatteras that crashed into Palm Beach, it hasn't been a very good month for Hatteras's...
By the way...the 72 Hatteras was still there today...as salvage crews hired by the town of Palm Beach were racing to remove the yacht before Hurricane Matthew gets close.

Does anyone know which 80 Hatteras it was? I know there was a late model open bridge 80 on the brokerage market that I believe was docked there. Tony

Apparently the name of the boat was Mimi bed on a video that showed the stern

What a shame, these are really nice boats... Back in June/July when I was looking for a boat for one of our customers, the 80 hatt was on the short list, although not this one as my client needed a skylounge.

Amazing to see the beating the pier took... Chunks of concrete, cracked pilings etc... Some of the news video is pretty detailed

seems fishy. Was the owner upside down?

Must have wanted to get rid of it since it was Gas powered :p

Well the News said it was leaking Gasoline so that has to be correct other wise they would say that
