still looking for gen set

i saw an ad for PHASOR gen sets with KABOTA power. anyone have an comments on them. Thanks,John

Five years ago we replaced our Onan in our 37' . with a 7.0 Phasor. it has over 500 hrs on it and has run flwlessly . This past winter we put an 7.0 phasor in our 43'. both boats and gen sets doing very well.

I have a Kohler 8EOZ and it has been flawless. Nearly 1000 hours and three years on it now, sounds like a sewing machine.

Replaced an old Onan 8kw, the new one has no sound shield and yet is quieter than the Onan was WITH a full hushbox.

I'd buy another one in an instant.

sorry for the delay in responding. Been boating. The 37 has no sound shield and the 43 does. Will remove the sound sheild on the 43 next time we are in Florida. The gen sets are VERY quiet without the sound shield. no vibration just a slight hum.
