  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
53' MOTOR YACHT (1969 - 1988)
Am in the process of rebuilding my bimini top on my 53 MY. Have the canvas and all the fittings and just need the tubing. Can bend that myself with help from the kind folks at my marina. Have found several sources to buy the four sections of 7/8" S/S tubing, but it is pretty steeply priced. The 2 x 12 ft and 2 x 20 ft sections will run about $375 - $400. Anybody have a relatively less expensive source I could check out?

I just bought FIVE 20 foot lengths of 1" tubing for a handrail job. Two lengths were $220 and the 5 lengths were $255... go figger. These came from a steel supply house near here. I believe these are 308 SS food grade with a #180 polish. I may put them on the wheel here before the install... WWS

Just so happens I took the full Bimini and stainless tubes off of my 53my two years ago and still have the stainless tubes. Actually - I have the smaller sections and I have the 2large loops at the marina waiting p/u.

I have a new Bimini in process and the shop is throwing in free SS framing free. So the old stuff is available if you would like it. I looks brand new and is in excellant shape (freshwater boat). Located in Ohio.

TH&T, Thanks for your offer. Will PM you.
