Stabilizer??????

Has anyone heard anything about the seakeeper stabilizers that is being advertised please look at seakeeper.com

I've seen these before. I think there was an article in Passagemaker. They take up a bunch of space and are heavy. I think they may be good for new construction where the manufacturer designs the boat around them, but they are too big and there is too much problem holding that weight in place in an existing hull.

The nice thing about them is that they will control roll even at anchor.

Good Morning for your info I have been talking to the people who invented this new giro for a long time. I am going to fly up to Virgina Tuesday the 22 . There we will sea trial a older sport fish. The problems they where having they seem to have fixed . As far as the size they are about the size of a beach ball. Hopefully I will come back with some good insight and a smile. We bottom fish and lay at hook a lot. So for us it will be great if they can hold up to the beating .
