Every once in a while I'm hearing a squeek from port engine when it is in gear. I've heard this from several boats over the years. It goes away pretty quick as soon as you increase RPM. I talked to one guy who thought it might just be some junk ie seaweed up in the bearing and he has heard it before on different boats that it was no big deal.
Anyone else have any experience, is there a clear indication if you have a bearing going south. Last guy to change my prop's said all bearing's looked good and as far as he could see shafts were fine etc..
thanks garyd
