Well no where near as bad as Fla however had all my lines in a web for the noreaster we're getting now. Slept on the boat last night and saw gusts of 55 to 60 funneling down the river. Wife called at 11pm and said power to the house gone, still out now. So far so good. Glad to hear from the guys in Fla. Was scheduled to haul for the winter today. Thats not going to happen!!!!!

Skip,

I am heading down there shortly to check on my boat. The storm we had a couple of weeks ago caused me some minor damage. There must have been some floating debris stuck between my boat and the dock. I have 4-5 scratches on the hull in places that could not have come in contact with the dock. No big deal but enough to annoy me. Biggest problem we had last times was the lines stretching. 8 straight days of 25-35kt sustained wind and rain really stretched them out.

Are you going back to Oceanport Landing for the winter?

Jack, Thats why I slept (not) on the boat. You can take up on the stretch when the boat rocks back. Must have done it 6 times last night. Not real protected where I am in a NE wind. Yes I'm going to Oceanport Landing. Was supposed to go today! I thought with the storm in the forcast they might have opened Mon. to haul and was ready to go however they remained closed.
