  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
58' YACHT FISHERMAN (1970 - 1981)
Down at the marina I hang out at, Murelles in Lantana, a handful of slips have just opened up as a few owners there are taking boats north to stay. 3 of the open slips will hold a 40 footer. Only $12.50 a foot per month. (Annual). Cheap for around here.

Direct Intracoastal. Full Service Marina on site. Close to I-95. Only 15 minutes to Palm Beach International. 45 minutes to Lauderdale. It's a great little spot in Southeast Florida for only $12.50 a foot.

Nice! Thanks for sharing.

Those are San Francisco Bay Area prices. Just 40 miles inland in fresh water I pay 6.15 a foot. And it's a great marina with all the amenities.

You guys have it cheap. Expect to pay $24/ft for an 80 ft slip in San Diego.

That's not bad Dave, some places in San Diego are up to $30.00 a foot and they don't even have any vacancies. John

Well us dumies here in Morehead city NC pay 250.00 per month inc elec. Here at the small mariner i operate, All the slips are rented sorry . But thats not NORMAL we have about 8 slips. OOO its about 100 yards off the icw.We take turns cutting the grass takes about 30 min.

The real smart guys live in Raleigh, NC and drive 100 miles to Washington, NC where they keep their boat at the Washington Yacht and Country Club. Boat slip rental (covered slip) $104.49; electricity $22.00. Free ice, clean restrooms, no charge for pump outs (self pump), discount on fuel. Have to join WYCC which costs $245.00 a month. In fresh water off Pamlico River and 20 miles from ICW. 51 miles from Ocracoke Island (Cape Hatteras). What a deal!!! Mel Tucker

I pay $29 a foot with liveaboard privileges. If I were to rent a cheap 2 bedroom apartment in San Diego I'd be paying $1800 a month. I will take my Hatteras view every time 

You folks in Southern California have such a superior deal by living aboard! In EVERY WAY POSSIBLE! Besides...There isn't a better lifestyle ANYWHERE ON THIS PLANET! You're Preaching to the Choir here!
For Southeast Florida $12.50 is a great deal. $13.50 over in Clearwater is reasonable too. A couple of years ago I spent a month at the city marina in Downtown Punta Gorda with an annual rate of $11.50 back then. The last time I checked, a larger (40-100ft) slip can still be had at Loggerhead in Lantana for $15 or $16 (next door to Murelles)...and they have a pool.
By comparison, you can easily pay $35-$50. in Key West. A couple of marinas down in this part of the world are up to charging $4 a foot PER DAY!

A couple of liveaboard allowed places charging $18 in South Florida.
