hello,

I'm ready to install the snake river ultra 8 system for my 2 diesel tanks and 3 water tanks. First question is does anyone who has installed this remember the measurements for the cutting of the sensor / senders (..actually, on that logic I wonder if snake river keeps on file)? Second, Doug and others who have this system, did you install sensors on all 3 water tanks? I think there currently is only sender in the one tank. If so, how did you do it? Any other advice before I embark?

I only did 2 water tanks plus both holding tanks, but you can do all 3 and diesel tanks. You do them all the same.....
Remove the old senders
Install PVC pipe thread (NPT) fitting adapters to get down to a 1 inch NPT thread
Measure with a dowel or whatever by sticking it straight down to hit the bottom of the tank and then measure the dowel from the top of the 1" NPT to the bottom of the tank.
Send in these measurements to Snake River with the type of sensor needed (water or diesel)
Only get the sealed PVC tube type sensors, not the tape types.
Send in your tank names to Snake River (FW Holding, FW Fuel, Aft Fuel, etc.) so they can program your display.
Wait for your stuff from Snake River
Install the display with 12V power
Install the sensors in the tanks (just screw them in to the 1" NPT)
Run 16-2 or 18-2 marine wire from the sensors to the display
Hook 'em up
Empty each tank and tell the display that's "empty" reading.
Fill each tank and tell the display that's the "full" reading.
Ready to go.
