smilies and toolbar help...

For some reason, I can't click the smilies or access the toolbar in the thread controls.
Something I'm doing wrong? Posting rules seem fine:

None of those commands work for me either. They haven't in a long time.

I was trying to post some pictures in one of the threads and couldn't access the pull down bar. That led me to check the other functions. None seem to work....

smilies don't work either unless you put them in manually

to attach pictures, use the Manage Attachments button in additional options.

not sure why the tool bar doens't help, it's probably a config issue.

This was a click and drag and now they only show the HTML code... damn japs!!

I've been using Photobucket in the past and it's worked fine. I actually uploaded pictures of Kismet on a thread a while back, using PB without incident. The problem is that I can't click the "insert image" button above (one with the mountain/sun). I can't click any of those symbols for that matter....

I've tried uploading images using the "Manage Attachments" button below (again, uploading from PB), but the upload fails every time. These are all jpegs and within the allowable size limits.

I'm running IE. Guess I could swap over to Mozilla, but that's just silly. I'm not an expert, but hardly a novice. This one has me stumped....

All that stuff worked for the 1st year or so of this software. Then, Sams upgraded the software and we lost all of those functions. So much for the "upgrade".

Thanks for everyone's help. I'm just cut 'n pasting attachment addresses into the thread now. Works fine.
