slow gear

871 TI. Port gear is verrry slow into forward, ok in reverse and oil is ok. What should I look for next.

First make sure oil is FULL, Check with engine running and warm/hot. If this does not inprove it clean/replace both filters.

How slow is too slow?

Was about 8 seconds, But it was the oil , I must have checked it with engine off... thanks guys
