Sliding salon doors latch set

I am working on a vintage 1966 41' CV sports-fisherman that has a pair of sliding doors going from the main salon into the cockpit. Someone, along the way, removed the door latches (and the helm station in the salon!). I'm looking for a replacement set of latches. Any ideas? The original ones were most likely chromed. My guess is that it had recessed handles (as on a pocket door in a house) on the interior and a knob above a key hole on the exterior. The latching mechanism, I would think, would be of the hook-and-eye type as seen on sliding patio doors.
