A lot of them DO apply to powerboats though... We've lived on our Hatteras for 13 yrs now....And I fully agree with some of them..

Loved it. I lived aboard for years, on and off, and saved enough money doing it to make the down payment on this house. Of all the liveaboards, the Hatteras was far and away the best of the bunch, and I still have her.

I would have to add:

...you think having your boat in a covered slip is great because it turns your aft deck into another room...

...you had only a cell phone before your kids had only a cell phone...

....you won't own any car that has to be garaged...

I have whole other rant about being a liveaboard that I will share in a new thread. After all, "Hey, the wind is free, and so should everything else be." I hate those attitudes.
