Shore power red indicator light

Looking for help, 1978 58 MY galley up, shore power red indicator light number 3 does not light when shore power connected. no. 1 2 and 4 operate normally red light on when shore power connected , however at no. 3 position power is working on the boat, I found 2, 240 volt 3 amp Buss fuses blown behind main panel replaced them and they blew again, there is 240 volts on the top end of the fuses.
Has anyone seen this , or has any advice?

Is bulb good?

Yes bulb is good, swapped with one of the others.

it may be the socket. There is usually a resistor needed for the neon lights and I have seen them short out and blow the fuses.
