Well..I think I just realized another thing that is positive about going through a repower to help offset the negatives (expense) of going through one. This is my first time putting the boat in, since my repower, after a winter layup. I just put her in yesterday and it is the earliest I've ever put her in since I've owned her (want to catch some early bluefin). Didn't have a reason to keep her on the hard! Usually I have to delay launch because I have to fix something! Everything went smooth....even the water was flat to test out the newly propscanned props. The usual 1hr trip from Lewes, DE to Indian River Inlet took significantly less time! The props ran smooth and I think my pull to the left (from having the stbd prop out of whack since new) is gone. She ran smooth like being on a jet a cruising altitude when all you hear is the wind passing by! I'm excited about this season. Hopefully it ends as good as it started!
