Hatteras Model
60' CONV -Series I (1978 - 1986)
Four 2.5 inch shafts and two couplers for sale $ 3500.00. The longest shafts are 111 inches long. They came off my 60 ft. Sportfish as I went to single piece shafts. Located in Michigan.

The couplers alone are worth that. You can't find those anymore. If I had a boat with those couplers on it, I'd buy them for spares.

i would love to know the performance change without the couplers, i bet it is a decent speed increase and fuel rate down some

I gained 2 kts when I went to one piece shafts and lost the vibration. I believe it’s not drag but disturbing the water flow into the props.

What coupler is it? I got a quote for a TC725 to fit the 2.5" shaft on my 46C for $1,119 retail from General Propellor. Deep Blue Yacht has same one with that list price but has available for $784. Not trying to knock down original poster and his are probably different but there are 2.5" couplers around.

Roger. Mine are tapered and are what Hatteras provided per the blue prints. Im sure his are worth alot then. If I had room I might ought to buy one of mine new before they quit making them too.
