Does anyone else have a drip pan under each shaft log just behind the engines with bilge pumps and float switches included?

Our 53EDMY has the bilge pumps, float switches and manual on off switches for port and starboard shaft logs. Not sure if this was a factory item or not. The drip pans are molded fiberglass which leads me to believe this was a factory option but the wiring doesn't look factory and there's no dedicated DC breakers like the other four bilge pumps on the boat.

Most concerning is that it looks like each pan interferes with the lever on the main seacock for each engine when trying to close the valve.

I have them, but I also installed them myself, were not factory installed. My shaft don’t drip very much but what they do drip is totally contained. Just one suggestion don’t slow the boat down real fast or the water can slosh out. John

John,

Thanks for the response. Helps to know what others did versus factory. Just curious. Where did you get power for the bilge pumps and did you use breakers or fuses for them? Mine are currently working off of "mystery power" as there are no breakers or visible fuses. One of my tasks will be to chase down the power source and then figure out if and where circuit protection exists.

I have a 12 volt breaker panel in my port engine room for multiple 12 volt systems that I have, ran the discharge lines to the discharge box in each engine room.
