Didn't realize Sentry was in business until today.
For those still rocking 32volts there's one offering @ 30amp.
Their non FR chargers look like rebranded Dolphins, just like back in the day before the original Sentry sold out.
Btw, have a 24volt Dolphin that's been perfect which replaced a Sentry non FR charger, just a big circle.
Maybe the original Cruisair folks can start a new company producing a quality product too.

I replaced my original charger about 6 years ago with a Sentry. It has worked flawlessly and I find I need to water the Roll's batteries much less often with the Sentry. Sentry was also very easy to deal with and why I had chosen them over other options.

I have used Sentry's 32v charger for about 10 years but have gone through three of them. I believe the problem is related to the low voltage at my YC that has fried everything it touches.

Sentry requires shipping the unit for repairs. Save the box. At first this seemed lousy but they turn around the units within a week and at nominal cost really.

Has Sentry commented on the failure? Probably cause? Ideas to avoid future failures?

I did not ask. The cause of failure each time was from prolonged low voltage input. My YC went cheap and bought 208v transformers that deliver about 200v to the boat when heat increases loads. I cant fault Sentry in any of this.

I posted to indicate that Sentry service requires returning the charger. So keep the box. And that Sentry does a nice job of quickly turning around repairs for an overall good experience.
