"It's not just me" I'll make this short. Aqua Matic 1400 by Sea Recovery $ 14,000.00. Worked 91 hours. Repairs??????? Touch screen $ 980.00, main circuit board $ 1,400.00, Service call and install the parts $ 2,300.00. At 121 hours it doesn't work again. They dont know whats wrong now but for $ 1,300.00 plus install they will retro-fit this unit back to the old techonology. They said 8 hours @ $ 100.00 or $ 2,100.00 "WHAT?????????" Your stuff sucks so I should pay my hard earned money to "retro-FIX your screw up"?????? I DON"T THINK SO. Thats the fix for your poor techonology and you want me to pay for it ????? I DONT THINK SO. I took a manual high pressure valve, high and low pressure gauges and flow gauges from a 20 year old unit and SHAZZZAM,,,,I am making water.

Lats RECAP. Sea Recovery builds this electronic booondoogle and it is up to the owner to pay for there Screw-Up. " O Yes " they told me they produced this retro-fix for this unit because thay all have failed.

SO " Its Not Just Me "

We had a SR 900 installed 3 years ago on the boat I run... We replaced the touch scren control board twice (once under warranty, once at $1400 incl labor)...

The screen has a bunch of lines on it too, not worth replacing though and sometimes you have to flip the breaker off and back on a dozen time to start the **** thing as it throws a screen comm error

Where is yr screen? Ours is in the ER and I suspect heat is an issue. I m going to move it out of the ER...

Unbelievable you had to Bahamian rig a new $14,000 water-maker but at least it's running now, I had to flush my whole system of the stinky island water once stateside. Too bad Sea Recovery dropped the ball, maybe fly a banner over FLIBS this year? :)
