saloon halogen lamps

what is the safest way to remove the spring loaded halogen lamps on the overhead of the saloon without damage to the headliner?

all of those spring loaded fixtures i've dealt with normally pulls easily with damaging the headliner... Just be careful not to let the springs snap out... it hurts!

btw... when replacing the bulbs, if you have the 2 pins Halogens, look at Xenon bulbs instead of halogens... MUCH cheaper, just as good from my experience.

Xenon bulbs? I have the 2 pin bulbs too. where can I get these xenon bulbs?

i got them at Hopkins, here in the grove. we have about 50 of them on Charmer so i'm always replacing some...
