The week before Dennis, I was out on the boat and suddenly, my rpm gauge on the starboard engine dropped to zero. Engine was running fine and no loss of power. I continued running and when I cut power to come back into the inlet and back into the ICW, the gauge started to register again. The rest of the day, the gauge was intermittent. The boat has Yanmar 6LPA-DTPs. Any idea of what is going on here. The gauge failed on both the upper and lower stations. By the way, I did not find any lose wires.
