The bridge looks like a 36c series II to me.

Looks a lot like a 46C too... Its a Hat for sure...I like the part around 3:19 - 3:48.... " The weather service didnt call for anything like this!"

LOL

I don't have a clue what kind of boat it is but since there is no water striking the flybridge, it's definitely not a 53MY! :)

The bridge is too narrow, only 1 set of doors. maybe a 37 too.

The teak lined bow pulpit/anchor davit sure looks Hatty. Must be with no more bouncing around then that in 35Kt. winds!

That boat is not a 37, they have 3 cabinets up front, at least mine does. From what I can see the bridge looks like pre 1977 vintage.

the Utube caption says it's 43C. I remember when the guy posted this on the Trawlers list last year, he's a regular over there.

couple of weeks ago, in the Ches. we got some serious water over the slylounge of the Johnson 70 i was driving... not just a few drops of spray, but sheets of water on the windhshield. that was in the bay so the waves were not that big but we were pushing agaisnt 25kts windwith higher gusts. that when i really appreciate the comfort of an enclosed, climate controlled skylounge! :-)

Definitely looks like a Hatt..... in fact, looks like either a 43 or 45.....

I didn't see any material amount of spray reaching the curtains..... I have before on Gigabite.... :)

What size seas were those? 5-7's? Tough to tell, but it almost appeared as if he could have been running a little faster...7-8knots will bounce, while 11-12knots might smooth out. I think I've been in slightly larger seas and ran faster with less trauma. (43'DC)

What say any of you?

8 KTS is the problem. If he had her up at 12-15 the ride would surely be better. Been there and done that off Ft pierce a wile back. 15 Kts rides much better than 8.

Nuther Hatt post, but Hatt history, from Knit Wits (I assume) to a runby by a 70CV. Nice for Hatt lovers, except the music:
