Unit will stay on as long as you depress 'on' button, once you release it shuts off. Same result whether using master control or smaller repeater.
Called Simrad support and was told they no longer support this item(mine is not an J300x). Tech gave me a number for a guy in the Oregon/Washington area, but can only leave messages and no one returns my calls.
Any thoughts?

Call Johnson Electronics in Ft Lauderdale and see what they can do with it. They did all the Hatteras work in old days in Ft Lauderdale and your AP is of that vintage

I am in the middle of dealing with Rich at West Coast Marine Electronics to get my AP200DL fixed. He is located in Seattle Wa.
He has been very helpful with info on troubleshooting via email and has answered all emails within 24 hours of being sent.
