Reverse Osmosis Water Filter

I am thinking of installing an Aquaphor RO-101 water filter under the sink of our 43DC for drinking water and cooking. Any experience with this unit or a better suggestion? I can make this fit. The replacement filters are a bit expensive. https://aquaphor.com/en-us/reverse-osmosis/ro-101

I am big fan of SeaGull water filters. They are not cheap but they are compact and the filters seem to last for a very long time. It will filter out bacteria and viruses (at Angstrom levels of filtration) and we have never had a problem.

I have used this filter for our drinking water in the last 4 boats I have owned including my current Hatteras (drinking water and Ice machine). I do use a household prefilter which is placed just after the water pump to remove sediment, chlorine etc....

What model do you use? Is it the form factor (it looks very compact) or the functionality? I think I need to read further to see how the water purification compares.

I’ve installed them on my past boats. Easy peeze. We had well water and could not drink it without getting ill ever weekend. Once installed we could drink as much as we wanted. The cost is about the same as buying bottled water without the hassle of carrying all that water on board.
