Replacing exhaust fan in VIP head

Does anyone know WHERE this fan is located? Please don’t tell me it is behind the washer/dryer! Boat is an 18’2” beam motoryacht.....

Also is there a good source for replacement motors or parts? It’s 32v, I expect, but would a 24v unit be a viable alternative for a short duty cycle fan motor if it’s significantly cheaper?

On my 63' CPMY the exhaust fan is behind the washer/dryer. To get access I went through the crawl space behind the dinette.

I have a 61 MY , it’s in the stb engine room. I just replaced the motor and squirrel cage fan , got bot from Sam’s.

Some of these are 110 volt.

Mine must be behind the laundry. I’ll put a meter on the wires at the switch to check voltage before ordering the replacement. At least while I’m in there I can work on the generator room blower. The squirrel cage is rubbing on the housing making an annoying noise. I’ve learned the hard way to power up any new blowers to check for rubbing before installing! They never seem to get the cage in the right position on the shaft.

On these boats, Most head and galley vent fans are 120v, while engine room and generator space fans are DC.

how quiet are the new fans? Mine all work, but they are old and seem noisy.

Even the. Ew ones are noisy. I think it’s the vibration s from the fiberglass that makes it sound louder.

Mine were not that quite. I think I remember wedging some rubber or something on the casing of one of them it made so much noise.
