I’m thinking about removing the mast from the front of my 43 DCFB. Where do you have your white lights located? I don’t want to reinvent the wheel here.

I don’t have a 43 but mine is mounted on the arch.

Your anchor light has to have 360 degree visibility so needs to be at the highest point on board.

When I had a 43 DCFB, I removed the mast to carry toys on the bow.

For an anchor light, I bought an all around from West that had a 9v battery with a suction cup that I mounted at the helm.

Store your mast carefully as you will want it for resale. Search the forum and about once a year a 43DC owner is looking for a replacement mast.

Toy storage is my motivation. That’s a lot of real estate up there that I could use better. I honestly thought about one of those battery operated lights up top. After noticing a lot of pictures on here of 43DCs without the mast, got me wondering. Thank you for your input.
