  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
54' MOTOR YACHT (1985 - 1988)
The engine room bilge blower in my 43' DCMY has died. It appears to be a flange mount Jabsco or Fasco. I can't read the manufacturer name, but the numbers on the motor are 35148-0010 and 15230-01-3112. What would you guys suggest I use as a replacement?

Thanks

that looks like jabsco numbers. i would replace it with the same brand, all holes, wires and hoses will match up. i have never heard of fasco. my 72 58yf has jabsco blowers bigbill

if you want a better set up. get a 250 cfm and wire it up with the fuel pressure switch so it runs whenever the engine is running.

Looks like a Jabsco number. Buy the one rated for continuous duty if you can. It has better bearings and will be much quieter. I upgraded from the standard to the continuous duty in my generator/aircon room and it made it possible to work with the fan on. It should last longer too because it doesn't sound like it's self-destructing as it runs.

I replaced one of mine last year. It was a Jabsco 35400-0000 flange mount. The number on the motor is sometimes different than the model of the blower. Don't run this one continuously as it only has a life of 1000 hours. The continuous duty model is about double the price.
