Removing rust from old stainless

Noxon in the green bottle is good for significant stains, but not pitting...best to keep it away from painted/varnished surfaces.....Even STARBRITE boat polish (the blue bottle fiberglass polish) works on light rust stains and provides a some protection...I found it useful to use the Starbrite once a season to prevent rust stains from accumulating...

If you are speaking of light rust, then use Collonites metal wax and then go over with Collonites insulator wax.

Both can be found at some West Marine stores , but Boat Owners Warehouse has them also.
