Not Currently A Hatteras Owner
I have tried everything I can think to remove some greasy fingerprints from around the cockpit. I have used dawn, simple green, greased lightning, on/off, letting each sit for 10-15 minutes and those damn things are still there. My next step is trying compound, any other great homemade gems?

Try Kaboom. Let it sit for a minute before wiping it off.

Acetone, But try a spot in a remote space to make sure it does not attack your paint.
My boat is painted with Awlgrip and the acetone takes dirty finger prints, black rubber dock bumper marks and other stains right off.

I will usually follow up with Awlgrip Awlcare Sealer.
