Any tips for breaking the seal to remove the gear.. All bolts mounts ect removed, Engine resting on fabricated L brackets. Gear is tied (hanging) to A frame, but having trouble breaking it from timing cover. Afraid to pry it to hard and break housing flange. ???
Thanks

They usually come right off. Check for missed bolts.
Tranny is hanging by rope? If so get a chain and make there is not too much pressure on the input shaft. There are usually a couple places for jacking bolts too.
