This is driving me nut's. My westerbeak (sic) ? 15kw diesel, gen set will not start from remote panel unless I have previously started from generator. In other words, I hit start after pre-heating, get nothing, no turn over, nothing. Go under galley start it from the gen set it starts right up. If it runs for 10 minutes or so and I shut it down I can usually restart it from the remote. My mechanic say's he dosen't know why it is malfunctioning. Anyone ever encounter this ?? It is preheating from the remote, just will not start.
