I have finally sorted out the gearboxes and am now sorting out other issues. Mainly refrigeration issues, only the galley freezer works.
The refrigeration guy working on the boat has found a couple of leaks etc., but there are bigger problems.
I have a fridge in the galley, plus a freezer and same in the cockpit.
The galley fridge compressor is seized and I can’t get 110 volt, 60 hertz replacements here. The compressor is painted over, no name or serial numbers, but we believe it is or similar to a:
• TECUMSEH COMPRESSOR.
• 110 VOLT 60 HERTZ
• ½ HORSEPOWER.
• GAS IS R134A
• LOW/MEDIUM TEMPERATURE.
Does any member you know where and how much a replacement is available?
As for the cockpit fridge/freezer, the solenoid is not operating.
From what I can understand, I need a:
• 110 volt solenoid Valve body, ¼ inch male flare and 110v 60 hertz magnetic coil.
Really appreciate any help.
