  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
43' DOUBLE CABIN (1970 - 1984)
I am trying to source a couple of the little red screw on caps that the original systems monitor panal on our 1980 43DCFB has they are about.375" in diameter and about the same in height. they have a fine thread and when threaded into the panel they stand off .250" I have checked with Sam's and Jeremey said they are discontinued and they have a whole replacement fixture that is close. I would rather find the original if possible.

I have a friend that may be removing this system. He has gutted and rebuilt most of the boat. Once done with the galley he will move to the main salon. It may take 2 more months. If you haven’t found them by then I’ll reach out to you.

Sam's has them.
The Hat panel repair shop has them also.

I may have some. I'll check my parts pile.

although Jeremey said they didn't have them in a chat I was provided a part number for them and am going to try to call for them on Tuesday after the holiday .

Called and spoke with Jeremey just a bit ago and he confirmed that he does not have these in stock any longer, so if you have one or two to spare that would be great , i am only missing one. Let me know. thanks

Bump.. I'm still looking for these caps. thanks to all who have responded

The caps I have fit the bilge pump and blower lights, but I think they are bigger than those on the 12pt.

Thanks for the link, I spoke with Les there, he is a great guy and very informative, He told me there is no replacement caps available, I would have to change over to a rebuilt panel with new parts, he also told me that he'll keep an eye out and if he rebuilds one that has usable caps he'll set them aside and keep them for me. I am patient, We have been missing one cap since we have had the boat and will settle for a used one even if they are faded out a bit.

I have complete take-out panels if you'd like to go that route.

My panels are all right, there are 4 of them and each one has three lights on them , out of the 12 I am only missing the one. these are not large 12 light panels. I am really hoping to find a cap sooner or later.

As a new Hat owner, this is my first post on this site. The responses are sincere and caring. This is how society is supposed to work. Thanks for your help. At least now I have places to look. Hoping to ultimately find several of each the red indicator lights and fuse caps. Y’all have taught me to always get spares ha.

If you do find them please let us know. I have all of mine but the ones on the fly bridge are sun burned and faded a little.
