When Palm Beach towers installed the tower the spreader lights were mounted on the backside of the upper helm floor with the power switch just inside the salon entry door. The MAJOR issue I'm encountering is not knowing where they pulled the 120v power from for the lights. There's no breaker listed on the panel or in the manual, I've turned off every AC breaker I have with no luck in removing power. Any suggestions, other than just trying to trace it, to figure out where power is pulled from?
I really wish I could understand why they chose to connect the AC voltage spreader lights AND the DC voltage rear salon lights on a dual switch, uggggg.

if you turn off all the AC breakers, the lights stay on? Could they have tapped power at the shorepower inlet? That would be stupid and dangerous but who knows. Do the lights work on generator ?

Some boats have additional subpanels, have you check all of them ?

I am replacing the inoperable lights but incoming 120v at the switch remains after turning off each AC breaker in the salon panel. There's no easy access to the rear of the shorepower panel so I would doubt that. I can't imagine they would pull from the AC panel in the ER, BUUUUUUTTTT. I've been in/out of every crevice and haven't seen a subpanel that indicated it was for them. Yes, they work on genny

Have you opened the panel? Some S A electricians mount Din Rail breakers behind the panels or in some sub-breaker (fuse) box.
Go ahead and short the wires, something will pop somewhere..

Or, call them up and ask where they hid it...

ER breaker was a shorter run/on the way from the chase? All of my 'newer breakers' are on circuits in the ER.

Are you sure PB Towers installed 110v AC lights?
Usually they install DC light fixtures either powered by the DC system or operating off a AC to DC power supply. If you can't figure it out call them to see if they have any notes in their records.
My guess is Viking's AME folks probably did the electrical work.
Posting a photo of the light fixtures might help us figure it out.

maybe PB didn't install the lights but without question the switch in the salon that operates the spreaders is 110v. I'm leaning toward someone else ran this wiring, there's some residential wire nuts on some of the connections.
